No dependency of integration on the codebase. Thats when we came across the Open API (Swagger) Integration app for Confluence. But, integrating it with our code meant that we won’t be able to ship the API contracts upfront before starting to develop and coding would become a more tedious process. There were several options we had, but one prominent solution that kept cropping up was integration of Swagger Tools to our code base. In trying to standardize some practice in my current organisation we started doing some research. In the last 6 years of my work experience I have worked in multiple start ups and never have I seen developers themselves totally convinced with the way they write or get the API contracts. In engineering teams across young organisations, developers face certain problems when it comes to integration of frontend and backend apps due to a lack of proper API contracts.
